This is a divine snowflake Moldavite pendant necklace from Czech Republic. Rugged edges and texture, classic Moldavite with juicy green colour to it. Held by our handy work, detailed with green khaki and black toned waxed cord woven by our hands.
It is a stunning rare bottle-green colour and it has no damage- 100% natural and authentic. Interesting and quirky shape! Extra-terrestrial origin, (this can not be confirmed!). Delicate, and ideal for use in ceremony. It has been handcrafted by us here at Platypus Dreaming in the beautiful rainforests of Kuranda, QLD Australia, Ngunbay Djapukai country.

When describing the Moldavite as being snowflake or frosty, one is usually pertaining to the Moldavite’s specific surface. The Moldavite’s surface can even be glossy, or very glossy, or completely without gloss – matte. The terms snowflake or frosty are used for Moldavites whose surface is very matte. The surface of these Moldavites can remind some of velvet. Matte Moldavites are typical for some localities. For instance, Brusná or Jankov.
Very well-made and suitable for daily use- never take it off. There is a lifetime replacement guarantee if the cord colours change. Wear it during swimming, climbing or any other adrenalin sport- just do not tap the moldavite because it is meteorite impact glass so it could break upon impact as with any other item.
Please note- all our moldavites come from first-hand recent finds in Czech Republic. They have all been checked by proper gemologists, we just don't get a certificate because it is a very expensive process. If you would like us to arrange a gemological certification, we need to undo the talisman, ship it to the gem lab, and re-create the necklace again so it is an expensive process, but possible. We don't do this in the first place for each piece because it costs $250 aud per stone, and we prefer to keep our prices low for our custodians. Please contact us if you would like to add on an artist certification certificate.
