This is a dazzling handcrafted Fairy Opal crystal talisman from Australia. An ultra-colourful stone! It has been handcrafted by us here at Emu Dreaming in the beautiful rainforests of Kuranda, QLD Australia.
Fairy opal comes from opalised quartz sandstone, which is naturally impregnated with small grains of precious opal. It undergoes a treatment of carbonisation, to create a nature-inspired work of art. Fairy Opal is the only stone we carry that has been altered – we love it because it is so dreamy and colourful… and takes a lot of patience and commitment to create!!
