This is a super rare new found blue opalised wood crystal talisman, handcrafted by us here at Emu Dreaming in Far North Queensland, Australia. This incredible mineral was only discovered in 2018, near the slopes of three volcanoes in Indonesia’s West Java Province. What the miners actually found was an ancient petrified forest (how cool is that?), which had been pushed over by the deluge of “stuff” (pyroclastic flow) from a volcanic explosion. Then, over the ages, the wood was fossilized and preserved by opaline silica. The water in that silica was very rich in dissolved copper, iron, and manganese. Those copper and manganese deposits are now found inside this blue opal.
Opalised wood is incredibly grounding. The earth energies present in this stone will calm your nerves and ease your fears. It will fill you with feelings of security, stability, and well-being.
Our items are created and designed in Australia in alignment with the healing frequency of the oldest rainforest on Earth. My beautiful husband cut and polished the stone, and I made the macrame cord, so it is positively beaming with our creativity and love!
