This is a powerful Australian Gaspeite crystal talisman, handcrafted by us here at Platypus Dreaming in the luscious rainforests of Far North Queensland, Australia. This is a stone of the new dreaming! – only recently unearthed in Widgiemooltha, Western Australia. We had the fortune of polishing this delightful stone, to share the crystal's inner story. This talisman also features a 1000 pure silver tribal bead that has been hand-cut and chiseled using traditional techniques.
Gaspeite is an uncommon green and brown stone that has been found in only two locations in the world- Canada and Australia. Both the Canadian and the Australian Gaspeite deposits of this stone have been depleted, so it is now labeled as a rare stone. There is still some of the stone in the hands of collectors, but is not commercially available. If you are a crystal collector, or crystal collector, it may be wise to add this stone to your collection today.
